I misunderstood what I had read about when I needed to get an Israeli Driver's License.
I read that my foreign license could be transferred into an Israeli one up to 3 years after aliyah, and I thought that that meant that I didn't have to get the Israeli one till then.
I just found out that I was wrong. For some stupid reason, my foreign license is only valid for me to drive on up to being here a year, and that since July 6, i have been driving here illegally.
not good.
Called a friend's brother-in-law this evening. He is a driving instructor. Hoping to hear from him tomorrow to get this moving. Both boys in gan and kaytana this week, so if by some miracle I can take care of this, that would be great. ugh.
