wow, such thoughtful and encouraging comments. I THANK YOU ALL! It has helped to read your words. We (hubby and I) talked more about it last night, and I'm feeling a little more positive. He's cautiously confident that when he is in Israel for the 2 weeks that he is there, that he will get that 'feeling' again, and will be re-motivated to come home and finish up his work. He has a friend that he grew up with in Israel who is visiting this weekend. Hubby and the friend went out last night and did lots of talking . I am grateful.
Even though this friend no longer lives in Israel, he was very clear with hubby about following his dreams. One thing he pointed out to him in regards to his job success here was the question of "if hubby stayed here in the US another year, would that make him MORE marketable??? Would he advance in his career?" the answer is honestly no, so that was a push and a help in realizing that although things seem so good here now, that it IS the time to move on, it's just a matter of figuring out how to do it the right way.
DEEP BREATHS IN.....DEEP BREATHS OUT..... ugh, I think I would benefit from the reassurance and breathing practice in a refresher Lamaze course, huh?
Thanks again for your positive vibes!!!
